Czech car maker Skoda launched its much awaited compact SUV, "Yeti" in the Indian market on 15th November. Skoda Yeti launched in two variants Ambiente and Elegance and priced at Rs. 15.40 and Rs. 16.62 Lakhs respectively.

New 4x4 Skoda Yeti will be powered by 2.0 liter TDI diesel engine which gives 140bhp with exclusively 6-speed manual gear box and a mileage of 17.67 kmpl. Skoda India already booked 1000 orders on day 1 of its launch. Skoda Yeti comes with 6 airbags.

Skoda Fabia Special: Special model for below 10.000 €

The Fabia is the most popular model of the Skoda range. With the Fabia, the Czech Special VW brand now offers a version for under 10,000 € - usually it starts in the small car at 10 580 €.

Air conditioning always there

The engine is mated to a 7-speed DSG gearbox which helps it accelerate from 0 - 62mph in 7.3 seconds for both the hatch and the estate. Average fuel consumption comes to 45.6 mpg-UK (6.2l / 100km).

A set of 17-inch ‘Gigaro' alloy wheels with 205/40 R17 84W tyres appears both up front and at the rear. Other exterior highlights include LED daylight running lights, rear chrome double exhaust pipe and a rear spoiler. Running gear includes ESP, Hill Hold Control and XDS (Electronic Differential System).

The interior is equipped with vRS sports seats, paddles, a three-spoke multi-function steering wheel with radio controls, an 8-speaker sound system and MDI (Multi-device interface) amongst others.
