Volkswagen he unveiled it small car Polo in the 10 Auto Expo 2010 in New Delhi on the opening day of the show. Volkswagen, the world's largest car selling company after the tie up with Suzuki, is expanding its product line and planning to launch its first small car in India with the "Polo". Volkswagen Polo is very successful in Europe and company has received more than 130,000 orders since Polo's new model launched. Polo will compete with Maruti's new hot selling car Ritz, Fiat Grande Punto and Chevrolet's upcoming model Beat.

Chevrolet India soon going to launch new small car "Beat" which was introduced as a concept at the 2007 New York International Auto Show. Chevrolet Beat is designed in South Korea with a power of 1.2 litre turbocharged petrol engine. Chevrolet Beat will compete Marutu-Suzuki A-Star, Hyundai i10 and Maruti-Suzuki Ritz.

Volkswagen launched new SUV Touareg in India, Priced at Rs. 51.85 Lakh - VW Touareg Photos, Pictures, Images

Volkswagen launched its first SUV model "Touareg" in India on Friday, 4th December 2009. Touareg SUV will come with a 3.0-litre turbocharged V6 diesel engine which develops 240bhp from 4000-4400rpm. Volkswagen claims a 0-100kph time of 7.8 seconds for Touareg. Volkswagon Touareg will compete with Porsche Cayenne, BMW X5 and the Mercedes-Benz M-Class.
