Dodge Challenger 2011: Changes in continuity new spy shots
Dodge took advantage of the new vintage to develop its muscle car, the Challenger. Nothing to get up at night (although the sound of the HEMI V8 in the evening in the woods ...), but some physical and mechanical elements to be noted.
Thus we note the appearance of a new bumper spoiler with an air intake, which approximates the ground and reversed its position in order to make it seem less "merry" but more fierce Challenger.
Note also the disappearance of a ram's head logo that exhibit coming over the hood of Dodge but only RAM. We also discover new door handles and new alloy wheels will be available in several colors.
Chapter mechanics, we discover that the SRT8 gets the new version V8 HEMI 6.4 The more than 480 horses and 624 Nm of torque developed with MDS and allowing Dodge to once again compete with her sisters that are hostile Mustang GT and the Camaro 2SS.
The R / T does not move mechanically cons Challenger SE V6 3.6 L receives the Pentastar in a version that develops between 285 and 300 horsepower. Moreover, the suspensions are strengthened and have more settings "European", the command for opening doors is now done via a Keyless and finally it seems that the interior changes being redesigned in the spirit of the one we discover in a few months on the new Charger. All this is of course to refine and detail in the coming weeks but the Challenger seems to enjoy the fresh wind blowing across the Chrysler Group and for the delight of enthusiasts Muscle Car.
