Russian Premier 2011 Ford Grand C-MAX

2011 Ford Grand C-MAX
The new family car with the rear sliding doors and system transformation rear seats will be available later this year.

Compact minivan Ford Grand C-Max with extended wheelbase is characterized by high roofline. Design front of the car uses a proprietary trapezoidal lower grille and new headlight trim, previously shown in concept-square iosis MAX.

New Grand C-MAX is equipped with a pair of sliding doors and a system of transformation seats. Large rear door provides low loading height and the space between the rear lights and rear window emphasizes the similarity with the largest passenger car Ford - Model Galaxy. Grand C-MAX offers space for seven passengers in a small size saloon. Sliding rear doors on both sides of the body - a perfect solution for parents to help children sit in car seats, and also facilitates entry and exit of passengers on tight parking spaces.

The car has become even more versatile with the help of a special mechanism for folding the second row of three seats. Use it to quickly and easily add a central seat at one of the two sides to create a passage between them. This allows passengers easy access to the third row of seats, without changing the position of the two sides, which is especially convenient if they are installed child seats or booster cushions. The seats of the second and third rows fold to form a level floor for baggage regardless of the number of remaining seats are used. All mechanisms for folding the seats can be operated with one hand.

In addition to the upgraded version of the diesel engine Ford Duratorq TDCi, the new Grand C-MAX will be equipped with a line of gasoline engines, including a new 4-cylinder engine, Ford EcoBoost. These engines with low CO2 emissions supplemented with advanced transmissions, including a new manual 6-speed gearbox and Ford Durashift six-speed automatic transmission, Ford PowerShift dual-clutch.
